The Board is made up of five to seven members of the Arbor Creek Homeowners Association. Members of the Board are elected at the Association’s annual meeting in October and serve for a two-year term. Terms are staggered to provide continuity from year to year, with two or three new members elected every year.

Roles and Responsibilities

President

  • Prepare board meeting agenda items

  • Lead the monthly board meetings

  • Respond to or assign all outside/inside inquiries (request for information, realtor issues, reporters, homeowners requests etc.)

  • Work in conjunction with the Pittsfield Township police department on neighborhood safety issues

  • Create the quarterly newsletter

  • Oversee budget

Vice President

  • Co-chair the landscaping committee

  • Lead President duties when President absent or unable

Secretary

  • Prepare board meeting agenda items

  • Keep meeting minutes and post to board section of website

Treasurer

  • Maintain a spreadsheet of association expenses

  • Pay all association expenses on a regular basis

  • Report budget status at monthly board meetings

  • Maintain neighborhood mailing list

  • Manage annual dues process

  • Coordinate tax process with outside accountant

  • Check the mailbox

Member at Large 1

  • Co-chair the landscaping committee

Web Administrator

  • Maintain association website including public space and board only space

  • Mail merge and prepare all necessary documents for the due letter

  • Co-chair the social committee

  • Post yellow A frame announcement signs for respective events and announcements

Board members are volunteer residents from Arbor Creek; they are not compensated for their service. If you would like to volunteer for the Board, please contact the current Board.

The Board meets once a month. If you wish to attend a meeting for a particular reason, please contact the Board ahead of time.
